One of CoMA’s ensembles in residence (please see section Ensembles in Residence) has a great ambition to bring contemporary Swedish acoustic music to the listening public. The trio has, for many years, supported and brought forward many young student composers from the early stages of their student careers.
Ath this evening’s concert, the trio will perform the
premiere performance of six newly written works by young conservatory students—works which originated from close collaboration between the composers and the ensemble. The concert is the result of a course which took place during the Spring with the title, "The Ensemble—a Tool for Composers". The course came about through collaboration between Växjö University and CoMA.
